Dallas Asian Dental Association
Founded in 2004, the Dallas Asian Dental Association (DADA) is a non-profit organization for dental professionals and dental auxiliaries in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. DADA currently has more than sixty members including general dentists, dental specialists, dental students and dental auxiliaries. We welcome members from all backgrounds – both Asians and non-Asians alike.
Every year, DADA hosts a free dental day in the DFW area. We currently work with the Allan Saxe Dental Clinic at Mission Arlington and provide a yearly free extraction day in their clinic. In addition, we support Tubie Friends, a non-profit organization that provides free stuffed animals to children with medical needs. These stuffed animals are equipped with medical gear that matches the child, such as a feeding tube or a trach. By mirroring the child’s medical interventions, children feel less scared about their medical conditions. DADA hosts fundraisers and raffles in order to raise money for Tubie Friends. DADA works closely with the dental students at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and has a mentorship program set up for dental students and recently graduated dentists. If you are a student or recent grad interested in signing up for DADA’s mentorship program, email Claire Pan at firstname.lastname@example.org
